We’re proud to announce that Abbey & Lyndon have successfully renewed their SMAS Health & Safety accreditation for another year.

We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved ISO 9001 certification, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to quality management and exceptional client satisfaction.

We are celebrating 50 years in business this March. This is a real milestone for our family-based business, having been established in 1969 by Redditch based Adrian and an original Rubery-based partner, who then left the business in the 1970’s

Abbey & Lyndon are pleased to confirm they have once again been awarded SMAS Worksafe accreditation against the SSIP (Safety Systems in Procurement) Criteria for the 4th Year running to achieve Contractor Status. 

We have recently joined forces with CM Ventures to sponsor the Redditch Golf Club players in the West Midlands Golf League.

Abbey & Lyndon Win Medium Renovation Project Award at the 2021 Master Builder Awards. In this virtual ceremony held on the 11th May, the Master Builder Awards is run by The Federation of Master Builders.

Abbey & Lyndon are chuffed to bits once again to have reached the National Building and Construction Awards final in the Contractor of the Year category.

The Federation of Master Builders has recently released the results of their State of the Trade Survey  Their State of Trade Survey for Q4 of 2019 proved an interesting read with some compelling figures. 

Abbey & Lyndon provide a complete Bathroom supply & installation service.   With over 50 years under our belts, we’ve transformed many bathrooms, from moving the odd bit of sanitary ware to a complete redesign and wet room installations. 

Meet Tom, he’s one of our Carpenters at Abbey & Lyndon Builders, Redditch. We thought it would be good to show what a day in the life within our workforce is like, find out how they got into the industry, what they do, and tips on working in their fields.

The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) has put together a document outlining the “FMB Programme for Government 2019 - 2024”.  Within the document, the FMB is calling on the Government to focus on 12 key areas of policy to support the Construction Industry to ensure the UK thrives post-Brexit. 

Throughout 2020, we're celebrating a selection of ‘Working Anniversaries’. This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate the relationships we have forged and why these businesses & trades have become trusted partnerships. We are currently celebrating our relationship with Masefield Architects.

Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch are currently mid-way through a project in Wychbold, Droitwich. This detached luxury property will be finished to the highest of standards once completed in March 2020.

At the end of 2019 we showcased some of our top projects that we’d produced at Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch in 2019 and ran “Abbey & Lydon’s Project of the Year”. 

Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch have had a great 2019 with a year full of awards, nominations, competitions and celebrations.

Forming a coalition of more than 20 organisations, the FMB has written to the four main party leaders, asking them to pledge to cut VAT on all home improvement and maintenance works. 

Meet Rob, he’s a Roofer at Abbey & Lyndon. He’s worked for us for over 12 years now and gets involved in a whole plethora of jobs. We thought we’d get to know Rob and  find out what a Day in the Life of a Roofer is like.
