With 9 in 10 construction workers within the construction industry needing mental health support and with World Mental Health Day on the 10th October it’s never been more prevalent to talk about Mental Health in the Construction Industry.

We’re half way through our competition “Where’s Toby the Tipper” we’re running this in celebration of our 50 years in business. We thought it would be good to look back on some of our winners and their prizes.

Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch took part in the Annual Charity Bramley Cottage Golf Day. Not only did our staff participate on the day which was held at The Abbey Park Golf & Country Club on the 7th September, but we also sponsored the 1st hole.

It’s becoming a bit of a habit! We’ve given another award. This time it’s for ‘’Best Home Extensions Building Contractor West Midlands” in the SME UK Midlands Enterprise Awards.

Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch raised a staggering amount for Prostate Cancer UK at their Annual Golf Day to celebrate 50 years in business.

Good news for homeowners up and down the country, as they are being given the green light to build larger extensions without planning permission.

Specialists in Disabled Adaptations, Abbey & Lyndon Builders are experts in creating and adapting spaces for people with disabilities. Our work ranges from bathroom adaptations to wet rooms, installation of hoists to creating accessibility for wheelchair users in and around their home.

Abbey & Lyndon’s Annual Golf Day took place on Friday 28th June at Redditch Golf Club, celebrating 50 years in business.

We've been nominated for another award this time for Best Local Builder at the LABC Awards.

Following on from our meet the team post on Twitter we thought we’d get to know our manager Allan Rae and find out a little more about his day to day life at Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch.

Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch attended the National Building Awards at Wembley Stadium on the 22nd May 2019.

Abbey & Lyndon, building contractors in Redditch, is very excited to have been featured in local press, celebrating our achievement as finalists in the forthcoming National Building Awards.

Following on from National Apprenticeship Week we thought we’d introduce Kyle, he’s one of our Apprentices at Abbey & Lyndon. Kyle combines learning at Heart of Worcestershire College in Redditch with on-site experience, so he can develop an equal mix of technical and practical skills.

Established in 1969 by Adrian Pratt and today run by Adrian’s son-in-law, David Auld and grandson, Damon Auld, Abbey & Lyndon has gone from strength to strength over the years, with the result we are now celebrating our fifty-year anniversary as a local, family-run building company with a Charity Golf Day.

Abbey & Lyndon features in FMB’s Central newsletter, as we celebrate our 50-year anniversary in the building trade. With monthly competitions and a charity golf day to mark the occasion, The Federation of Master Builders Director, John Watson, visited our yard to find out more.
