David Auld
Managing Director

Background/Career
Having joined the company as a teenager some 37 years ago, I have been involved with the company through its exciting development that’s lead us to where we are today.

Having been involved in all practical aspects of different construction trades, this has gave me great underpinning knowledge to deal with existing and new projects. Being a family-based business it has been important to create a sustainable platform to secure the future of the company which I believe has been achieved.

I take great satisfaction in the knowledge that we have grown over the years with customer relationships and pride in our work is what Abbey & Lyndon are all about

Personal Life
Married to a supportive wife Estelle since 1983 (time flies as they say), we have 2 children together and 4 wonderful grandchildren to keep us both busy. Golf has now taken over my glory days of athletics and football. I enjoy supporting social events and keeping up to date with all the local football teams as well as keeping the faith in Derby County FC, up the RAMS!

Damon Auld
General Manager

Background/Career
I have been with the company for nearly 19 years helping keep the family tradition alive.   Having started out on the tools labouring to numerous different trades within the construction industry, I have worked myself up the ranks (as they say) and i’m proud to achieve my manager role within the company.

My aim is to take the business forward and maintain our great customer relations along the way. I enjoy the daily challenges that the job gives out and the satisfaction of delivering projects within the timescales provided

Personal Life
I’m married with 2 young girls, that are growing up way too quick that keep me on my toes at the same time. When I do get some spare time, I enjoy following Aston Villa FC and some would say spoil a good walk by hacking a golf ball around a field.

As a family we love exploring new adventures and spending quality time together.

During my time here I have seen the company grow hugely and im proud to be apart of this growth within the construction industry. I feel we have a great team here at Abbey & Lyndon who all have a keen interest in making Abbey & Lyndon succeed together.

Personal Life
I am married with 2 grown up children. On weekends I enjoy socialising with friends, trips to the theatre and try and get away with my Husband for weekend breaks as much as we can
