Since our establishment in 1969, we have grown from a local construction firm into a renowned name in the industry, known for our commitment to quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
This is a real milestone for our family-based business, which was established in 1969 by Redditch-based Adrian. Adrian was then joined by his son-in-law David in 1982, then in 1996, David became a partner in the business. David’s son Damon joined the company in 2001, keeping the family tradition alive by working alongside his father and grandfather. Adrian then decided to hang up his tools in 2014.
A question we get asked often is, “Where does the name Abbey & Lyndon originate from?” Abbey is in relation to Abbeydale (located in Redditch), where Adrian was living when the company formed. Lyndon was the name of the road in Rubery that the original founding member lived in, thus becoming Abbey & Lyndon Builders.
Abbey & Lyndon are a trusted family-run business covering all aspects within the building trade, from Flooring to Roofing; Disabled Adaptions; Commercial & Residential Building Services; Dilapidation Works to New Builds covering Redditch, Solihull, Bromsgrove & Birmingham, to name but a few.
