Following on from our meet the team post on Twitter we thought we’d get to know our manager Allan Rae and find out a little more about his day to day life at Abbey & Lyndon Builders Redditch.
When did you start working at Abbey & Lyndon?
I began my career on 20th Aug 2015 and haven’t looked back since!
Before working at Abbey & Lyndon, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I’m proud to say I once worked on Redditch Market selling fruit & veg, I enjoyed the daily communication with the general public.
What is your role at Abbey & Lyndon?
General Manager, I also make the best cup of tea in the office, so I’m also a part time tea maker as well!
Detail what an average day in the life at Abbey & Lyndon is like?
The job brings daily challenges which makes every day different. Keeping on top of materials and staff are also a main objective.
What key skills have you developed so far in your role?
Interaction and communication with work colleagues has become vital in my new role.
How would you describe yourself as an individual?
Larger than life!!! As people will say…………..
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Interaction with existing & potential customers as well as keeping the quality of our work up to the required standard my boss expects.
